Introducing Innowell to a client
Introduce Innowell well, whoever sends the invite
NoteInnowell is often introduced by more than one person: admin staff who send the invitation, and clinicians who introduce it during a session. This article covers both, so the client gets a consistent, reassuring first experience whoever they hear from first.
Who introduces Innowell
- Admin staff frequently send the invitation and may be the client's first point of contact about Innowell.
- Clinicians introduce and reinforce Innowell during sessions, and support the client to get started.
- Both give the same core message, adapted to their moment in the client's journey.
The core message (everyone)
Whoever introduces Innowell, these are the ideas worth landing:
- A secure space we use together: Innowell helps your care team understand how you're doing, so your time together can focus on what matters most to you.
- Use it in the way that suits you: before a session, on the day with support, or together with your clinician.
- A way to stay connected between sessions: check in on how things are going, set goals, and find resources when you need them.
- We'll set it up with you: your clinician will walk through it together, so getting started feels supported.
For admin staff: sending and framing the invite
When sending or following up an invitation, it can help to clearly explain what the client can expect. Let them know they'll be invited to set up their account, enter their demographic details, and complete an initial assessment. Completing this before their first appointment helps the care team understand how they're doing early, so the session can focus on what matters most to them.
Reassure them that Innowell is part of the service, that their clinician can assist them to answer assessments with them if they need, or a support person can be invited to answer assessment about them.
For clinicians: introducing in-session
Introduce Innowell early, at intake or in the first couple of sessions. Keep it simple, then send the invite in the room and help the client accept it and begin.
Walking through the first assessment together is a great way to build a client's confidence and to show how their results build a Health Snapshot over time.
Handover between admin and clinician
Where admin sends the invite and the clinician follows up, the platform makes the handover easy. On the Individuals tab, use the status filter (next to Assigned to me) and switch it to Invited to see clients who have been invited but are not yet active. This lets the clinician and admin see at a glance who still needs to accept and get set up, so the client's Innowell status is shared across those who need to see it.
